On February 12, 2026, the American Malayali Heritage Foundation (AMHF) proudly hosted an exclusive preview evening at Kidilum NYC, New York City’s newest restaurant dedicated to the rich and vibrant flavors of Kerala. This experience brought together community leaders, supporters, and cultural advocates for an unforgettable night celebrating heritage, connection, and culinary excellence.
Guests were immersed in a thoughtfully curated seated dining experience led by Chef Vinu Raveendran and the Kidilum team. Each dish reflected the depth and authenticity of Kerala cuisine, elevated through a modern lens while honoring its traditional roots.
The evening opened with inspiring remarks from AMHF President Daisy S. Palliparambil, highlighting the importance of community support and the role it plays in uplifting spaces that celebrate our shared heritage. The strong presence of the community was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when we come together to support one another.
Chef Vinu Raveendran and the Kidilum team expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the AMHF community, recognizing the significance of introducing their vision to New York City with such meaningful support.
At AMHF, we remain committed to empowering cultural initiatives and supporting individuals who are elevating Kerala’s presence on the global stage.
